This morning I am travelling to Swindon, to take part in one of the many brilliant Club Author Days organised by the National Literary Trust #literacy_trust and Premier League Charitable Fund #premierleaguecharitablefund. I will be chatting to lots of lovely local primary school children, who like me, are being treated to a morning at the home of 'The Robins', Swindon Town FC - organised by Swindon Town FC Community Foundation #stfcfoundation. As a children's author this is about the most important thing we can do - apart from writing the books! - this is keeping children's interest in reading and loving books alive! In the times we live right now, I wanted to share this. Not only because I am hugely proud to be her daughter but she, like so many other brilliant woman, has shown us how we can work together and achieve our goals with great humanity.#IWD2025#AccelerateAction ...
