I am delighted to have teamed up with the Children’s University.

Both my books, What Do Vets Do? and What Do Construction Workers Do? offer children a chance to gain stamps for their ‘Passport for Learning’ by doing the Activities in my books!

What is Children’s University?

While the curriculum remains the focus of the formal education system,
Children’s University encourages children to take part in activities and experiences outside normal school hours.

  • It has been shown that this holds unlimited potential for life-changing experiences and skills development.
  • With children only spending 9% of their waking life in a classroom by the time they turn 18, Children’s University offers a framework for unlocking the potential that’s held in the remaining 91%.

Aimed at 5-14 years old. Children University is run in participating schools.
Each child has a ‘Passport for Learning’, and the aim is for them to collect ‘stamps’ for hours of accredited learning. This contributes to the award of a certificate, with different certificates awarded dependent on the number of hours accessed.

More detailed information can be found on the Children’s University website.
